Bikes have always been part of the story.
Gisborne Bike Nook is Alberto’s local bicycle workshop — built from years of experience, a love of cycling and a simple goal: helping our community ride more and ride safer.
From Europe to Gisborne.
After years of repairing and servicing bikes across Europe, I moved to Gisborne in 2022 and brought my passion for cycling with me.
What started as fixing bikes for friends and neighbours soon grew into opening my own little workshop from home.
At Gisborne Bike Nook, my goal is simple: to help our community ride more and ride safer. Whether it’s a quick tune-up, a full service, or just some advice on keeping your bike in top condition, I’m here to keep you rolling smoothly.
Cycling has given me so much freedom and joy, and I’m proud to share that with the Gisborne community — one bike at a time.
Trained to look after your bike properly.
Cytech Certified Technician
Alberto has completed professional Cytech bicycle technician training across Theory One, Technical One and Technical Two.
Cycling is part of family life.
For Alberto, bikes aren’t simply something to repair. Cycling is about getting outside, exploring, spending time together and having the freedom to go somewhere under your own power.
Gisborne Bike Nook grew naturally from something already important to our family — and from wanting to share that with the community we call home.
Good service. Safer bikes. A local approach.
Gisborne Bike Nook is deliberately local and personal. The aim is straightforward: take good care of bikes and the people who ride them.
